We are new residents to Elliot Lake who bought a house with a new furnace installed in March 2017 we called to see if the warranty carries over to us the new home owners in 2019 and it took 4 phone calls and in those 4 call it wasn’t till the last call did they say extremely rudely that the warranty does carry over and told me to stop calling or make a service appointment. Unbelievable poor customer service absolutely rude and yelling on the phone complaining that I called 4 times when it was them that couldn’t tell use if the warranty was good on the first, second or third call. Absolutely shameful. We are not furnace experts nobody told us who to contact and in the end the humidifier was not installed by them which is fine but this experience trying to find out about the warranty was absolutely horrible. I’d give a zero star rating for customer service if you could leave one. I didn’t know a new home owner would be doing anything wrong trying to find out what warranty’s they have. Someone installed the humidifier and I was just trying to find out if it was warrantied as well if not by them then I would try to contact who installed it to fix it, if there was no warranty then yes I would have made a service appointment. I didn’t know people love to pay for service appointments and pay extra money if there is a warranty that covers such fixes. How does a new home owner know who installed what. Absolutely horrible customer service extremely rude.
